Crunch is a 2D animated short film where sound becomes the main character, turning a man’s late-night focus into mischief and absurd consequences. Set in a quiet office, it transforms an ordinary annoyance into a playful, relatable narrative about patience and consequence.

Crunch was completed within a tight 3.5-month timeline, combining a fast-paced production schedule with a traditional animation style. All the 2D animation was drawn frame-by-frame using Procreate, allowing for a sketchy and expressive visual tone. The animated sequences were then composited in After Effects, where we also synced the visuals with sound. Despite the short turnaround, the workflow remained consistent and efficient, balancing the spontaneity of hand-drawn frames with digital precision to bring the film’s comedic energy to life.
